Eurovision

Bald ist es wieder so weit! Der Eurovision Song Contest ist im Mai. Und wer tritt für Lettland an? Genau ein Deutscher! :) In Lettland sind sie schon ein bisschen weiter als in Deutschland. Seit letzten Samstag steht fest, dass Jöran Steinhauer (die lettische Version von seinem Namen lautet: Jorans Šteinhauers ;) ) mit seiner Band Aarzemnieki, was übersetzt Ausländer bedeutet, nach Kopenhagen fährt. Seine Band ist mit einem Abschiedslied für den Lats, die lettische Währung, die es noch bis Ende letzten Jahres gab, bekannt geworden. Dieses Mal singen sie "Cake to bake". Na mal schauen, wie erfolgreich sie damit sein werden! :) Ich hoffe, ihr könnt die Youtube-Videos in Deutschland wieder geben!

Eurovision

Soon it will be that time of the year again. In May will be the Eurovision Song Contest. And who will participate for Latvia this year? You guessed right a German! :) In Latvia there already a bit further along the road than in Germany. Last Saturday they decided that Jöran Steinhauer (the Latvian version of his name is: Jorans Šteinhauers ;) ) will go to Copenhagen together with his band Aarzemnieki which means foreigners. His band became known through their goodbye song for the Lats, which was the Latvian currency until the end of last year. This time they sing "Cake to bake". Let's see how successful they will be with that song! :)
